Good morning Foods project members!
If you have had a chance to read your February newsletter, you found that we have planned a “Say Cheese” lesson for Saturday, February 9th, 10 a.m.-12 noon, at the Georgetown Community Center. Joey Gedgaud will be teaching us his method of making homemade mozzarella cheese. We will begin promptly at 10 am because the cheese takes 2 hours to make and we want to finish around noon. So please be on time if you want to learn the process from the beginning.
We will also be making a fruit smoothie and a yogurt parfait as part of our dairy lesson for healthy snacks.
We will be making Valentine’s cards to share with area nursing home residents. If you have stamping or scrapbooking supplies that you would like to work with, please bring those with you. Supplies will be available to use also.
Please RSVP your attendance by Thursday, Feb. 7th. We need at least 6 youth/adults to hold the project. If you have any questions, please call the Extension office or reply to this email. Hope to see you on Saturday!
